With Bunong trekking in Cambodia, you can discover wonderful wildlife and Bunong culture by trekking and staying in a home stay in Putang village, 10km from Sen Monorom, in Mondolkiri.

My name is Nor, Im Bunong and i live with my family In Putang, one of the few Bunong villages in Mondolkiri province. I'm a trek guide since 12 years and I know really well the jungle, it's trees, fruits and animals. I would really enjoy to make you discover my culture and nature.

You are visiting Cambodia and want to get immersed in the jungle? I can arrange a trek for you, of 1 or 2 days: walk in the jungle, eat Bunong food and swim in waterfalls or see elephants which are living free in the forest.

If you want to sleep in an authentic little Bunong village it's possible here. By doing that, you can discover my community, eat Bunong food and taste rice wine. This will help to support the community and will be an unforgettable experience for you.

Indigenous culture (Bunong) refers to a traditional way of life​​ in connection with nature such as ascetic animism and believing in different spirits.

The elephants you will see while trekking with me are not unchained or forced to do things for tourists. Bunong people have always been elephant trainers and they live in the same area since hundreds of years. This explains the unique relationship based on respect that they have with these wonderful animals.
